As time passes, we tend to realize that everything is a pattern. January till December- birthdays, aniversaries, public holidays, exams for students, projects, eclipses, weekends, parties, alumni, deadlines, disasters, events, end of year closing, ext., etc.
So, what is the reason to celebrate a new year?
The Earth is goin to orbit the Sun again in the same path with no difference. A new year does not mean that there will be less hunger in this world or there will be a drop in unemployment or a peaceful world with no more borders, war or poverty. So, what exactly is the countdown for?
