The power of Power

Why would they do that?
It is mine, is it not?
Why would they take it away?
I should have a say, should I not?

Humans are all too greedy
at heart and soul and everything.


For all they care is power,
the power over any other around.
For the power would eat them up
Swallow them whole at the end.
